Vancouver, Canada - I was looking out the window of the coffee shop on the corner of Grenville Street. Between sips of coffee, I began sketching the people that walked by. When it started pouring rain, however, people on the street began walking more briskly, hiding under umbrellas, and frantically running for cover to the nearest store--making it impossible to sketch anyone. I then noticed someone on the other side of the street. They were so far away I couldn’t tell if it was a man or a woman, but I could tell that they were surprisingly calm and composed; walking down the street without a worry in the world, not hiding from the rain, not rushing, just strolling.
Mirroring the leisurely attitude of this person, Stroll Designs celebrates beauty in simplicity by creating minimalist designs meant to be worn by everyone. In life there are millions of things to do, to see, and to worry about, but sometimes it's important to slow down, go with the flow, relax, and stroll.

When I decided to turn Stroll into a business, choosing my partner was a no-brainer. My sister Daniela Miró-Rivera, Co-Founder of Stroll Designs, is a class-act, a perfectionist, an honest critic, a technological genius, and a person whose judgment I can always trust. We've worked together every step of the way, from choosing the hat color for the original logo to launching our website. Families that stroll together stay together.
